Iisalmi, Finland –November 2019.....Genelec -the global leader in professional audio monitoring -has announced the availability of the new 4430 two-way active installation loudspeaker, the first model to incorporate the company’s ground-breaking Smart IP technology, combining exceptional sound quality with single cable convenience. Smart IP provides scalable power, audio and loudspeaker configuration, supervision and calibration features via a standard CATcable, offering integrators unrivalled power, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and simplicity of installation.
The 4430 is a compact design that accepts both Dante and AES67 IP audio streams, and derives power via both PoE and PoE+ Power-over-Ethernet formats, with the 4430’s proprietary internal power supply helping to deliver an impressive 104 dB of short term SPL, via two integral 50 W Class D amplification stages feeding the woofer and tweeter. As well as receiving both power and audio-over-IP, the 4430’s single rear panel CATconnector also allows access to Genelec’s Smart IP Manager -a sophisticated downloadable software tool running on Windows 10 that allows installers to configure an almost unlimited number of rooms, zones, loudspeakers and audio channels, and includes device discovery, a versatile room equalisation tool set, system organisation and status monitoring. Additionally, APIs within the 4430 support the hooks to allow external control via third-party hardware, software or house automation.
In terms of specification, the 4430 supports up toeightaudio channels in a stream with sample rates of32-96 kHzand 16 -24 bit resolution. Streams can be managed by both Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager software, as well as legacy balanced line analogue audio. The 4430 delivers a frequency response of 45 Hz -23 kHz (-6 dB) via a 5 inch woofer and 3/4 inch metal dome tweeter, and the 4430’s compact, lightweight enclosure utilises Genelec’s trademark Minimum Diffraction Enclosure and Directivity Control Waveguide technologies to ensure neutral, uncoloured sound both on and off axis.
Manufactured using certified sustainable methods, the enclosure itself is produced from recycled aluminium, is available in black, white or 120 custom RAL colours, and is compatible with Genelec’s extensive range of mounting accessories to allow the 4430 to be floor, ceiling, wall or truss mounted.
Genelec have chosen to officially launch the 4430 at the spectacular new Finnish Music Hall of Fame in Helsinki -a unique and innovative museum and dining experience that already features over 120 of the new 4430 loudspeakers installed throughout the museum. Showcasing more than 200 Finnish artists and composers via the newest AV technology combined with Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions, the Music Hall of Fame will provide an unforgettable interactive, multidimensional experience for an estimated 100,000 visitors per year.
The installation at the Hall of Fame was undertaken by top integrator Bright, and their Head of Installation Santtu Sipiläcommented:
“When Smart IP was announced we knew instantly that it offered the perfect solution for the Hall of Fame. We were already familiar with Genelec’s outstanding audio quality and long-term reliability, so to be able to integrate every 4430 into the system via a singleCAT cable made the whole process of installation and configuration incredibly straightforward, yet provides us with amazing levels of control. We have set out to help make the Music Hall of Fame a new global benchmark for quality content and user experience, and Genelec’s Smart IP technology has played a key role in allowing us to realise that goal.”
Genelec Managing Director Siamak Naghian added:
“Our research into IP loudspeaker technology dates back to 2005, and the response to the preview of Smart IP at ISE back in February was so overwhelmingly positive that we knew that this valuable work would now allow us to fulfil a very obvious gap in the installed audio market. The 4430 is just the first of a number of loudspeaker models to incorporate Smart IP technology, and we look forward to expanding the range in 2020 and beyond. For the Finnish Music Hall of Fame to become such a prestigious early adopter of Smart IP makes us very proud, and even more excited for the future of our installed audio business.
”The 4430 loudspeaker is shipping now, and for more information please visit www.genelec.com

The W2395c is a classic Baxandall EQ combined with a powerful and beautifully sounding mid band. As solitary or complementing equalizer with that special something, its particular tone and slightly interactive bands let your tracks stand out big time. In close cooperation with its creator, analog mastermind Roger Schult, we are delighted to offer this amazing plugin completely for free.
CONTROL AND SHAPE
The W2395c excels in controlling the midrange within the context of broad tonal shaping of bass and treble. The high shelf is great for carving out percussive sounds as well as opening or darkening instruments and voices. The partnering low band provides a precise and solid grip on the sub frequencies, while the mids manage the balancing act between natural and beefy with stunning ease.
STRAIGHT YET FLEXIBLE
Operating the W2395c is as straight forward as it gets, and still the few controls provide great flexibility. The low band can be switched from 80 to 110 Hz, the highs from 2 to 5 kHz, and the semi-parametric mids offer 3 different Q factors to choose from. The drive control is a plugin-exclusive extra for adding some nice grit to its supernaturally natural tone character.
With its super intuitive controls and musically interacting curves, the W2395c is a special and unique gem in the world of equalizers. It enhances anything from very dynamic sources like vocals or drums to harsh cymbals or dull sounding guitars and synths – and it does an excellent job on the mix buss as well. A truly exciting EQ experience is waiting for you… right now, all free.

Cape Town, South Africa,November 2019... Pressure Cooker Studios, a respected music and sound design house specialising in music production for film, television and advertisements, has recently moved into their new purpose-built studio facility in the centre of Cape Town, designed by world-renowned studio designer Martin Pilchner of Pilchner Schoustal International Inc. Genelec is at the heart of this new facility, with its local distributor, TruFi, supplying monitors for all of its recording studio spaces.
From humble beginnings in the basement of a house10 years agoto a 355 square metre studio space, the new facility is exactly how the Pressure Cooker team had envisioned it from the outset, and features two maincontrol rooms which sandwich a main studio proper, a 7.1 post theatre with adjacent ADR booth, five writing rooms, an independent isolation booth, reception, lounge and common spaces.James Matthes, Co-Founderand CEOof Pressure Cooker Studios notes: “We wanted to make our space as comfortable, but also as technologically advanced as possible –we spend so much time here, so it definitely had to feel lived in, making it a homely but premium space.”
Helping the Pressure Cooker team achieve this feat was Genelec’s GLM software. “The GLM system is fantastic in that it assists with all the relevant calibration ofany one of the monitors within the array in terms of EQ and phase alignment,” notes Neil Leachman, Final Mix Engineer at Pressure Cooker. “After the systemis aligned and EQ'd I spent a small amount of time just setting up levels for the individual outputs to align properly to the recommended levels for cinema monitoring for surround and R128 compliance. But the GLM system is invaluable inthe setup.”
Pressure Cooker has been using Genelec stereo and surround sound monitoring systems since the company was founded, and this trend continues in the new facility. “Every room in the facility has Genelec!,” smiles Matthes “From buying my first pair over nine years ago, I have never looked back –each monitoris fantastic. The sound produced is so clean, natural and unadulterated –nothing colours it,and I just love that.”
Each room in the new facility has utilised Genelec monitors in one way or another; Matthes has a pair of 8040 nearfields in his writing room, there are three 1238As three-waysfulfilling the LCR role behind the screenin the 7.1 theatre, with two 7380A 15-inch subwoofers and 8040sas surrounds-whilethe smaller rooms all have 8030 nearfields. “We chose a uniform
approach with Genelec because we wanted to be able to move from room to room and feel comfortable from the moment we hit play.” Matthes continues.
“For example, if I go from a writing session to the composition suite,or start doing a mix with a client in the theatre –my ears aren’t going to trick me. I find with Genelec, you don’t need any other reference monitor at any point, since they just naturally translate very well.”
The first true test for Pressure Cooker’s new facilitywas the film ‘This is not a burial, it is a resurrection ’that was premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival. “This was the first film we mixed using our Genelec system and particularly for the international market, it converted amazingly,” says Matthes. “The film’s producer told us how clear and brilliant the sound was, which makes me very confident in the set-up we have, and confirms that our decision to choose Genelec for the whole facility was the right one.”

Neu-Anspach, Germany – November 12, 2019 – After its first product presentation at the NAMM Show 2019 in Anaheim, California, USA, as well as its German premiere at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt am Main, the Adam Hall Group announces the immediate availability of the Palmer® MONICON® XL. The MONICON® XL studio monitor controller is one of the first Palmer® products to embody the revamped appearance of the brand and represent the new brand claim "PALMER® – Be true to your sound" in all its facets. High-quality audio products with professional functions and intuitive operation for the needs and requirements of musicians and studio fans.
The MONICON® XL is the flagship of the Palmer® MONICON® series and represents the new Palmer® design language that will shape the brand's overall appearance in the future. Equipped with many professional functions, the Palmer® MONICON® XL is the tool of choice for a perfect mix in both professional studio environments and home studios. The clearly structured control interface and innovative console design is divided into two levels, facilitating flexible table positioning and comfortable work.
Professional Studio Functions
As a unique feature, the MONICON® XL has a correlation meter that displays the phase difference between the left and right stereo channels to reveal mono compatibility errors in a mix. In addition, the entire analog audio circuit means that there is no latency when monitoring. This is because the coaxial S/PDIF signals are converted directly in the input. Users who want to set up their L/R studio monitors more flexibly also benefit from the additional sub out on the back of the housing. The mono-summed output is frequency-neutral and is not only suitable for connecting to a subwoofer, but also to a separate mono speaker in order to verify the mix in mono, both acoustically and visually with the correlation meter.
“The uniquely shaped Monicon facilitates a fast and intuitive workflow,” says Robin Henlich, Senior Product Manager, Pro Audio at the Adam Hall Group. “The division of the MONICON® XL’s userface into two levels as well as the configurability let users adapt it to their own workflow – and not the other way around. The latency-free signal transmission plus the correlation meter highlight the professional standard from a technical point of view. It’s simply fascinating to follow what’s happening with the stereo signal’s phase relationship in real time.”
The Palmer® MONICON® XL studio monitor controller is now available for RRP 360 EUR / 399 USD.
STUDIMON 5 Now Also Available
The Adam Hall Group also announces availability of the active 5" studio monitor STUDIMON 5. The STUDIMON 5 likewise represents the Palmer® brand's new direction and design language with particularly compact bass reflex housing with wooden side walls. With its 5" ferrite custom subwoofer, 0.75" neodymium silk diaphragm tweeter, and a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz, the 2-way monitor, with an output power of 2x 30 W (RMS), cuts an impressive figure, not only in sound, project and home studios, but also in professional audio environments. The back of the STUDIMON 5 features bass reflex opening, 1/4 inch jack and XLR inputs, and a volume controller for precisely tuning stereo balance.
The Palmer® STUDIMON 5 5" studio monitor is now available for RRP 218 EUR / 241 USD.
Haimhausen November, 2019. With the ADI-2 DAC, RME has created a high-quality and flexible stereo digital-to-analog converter that has taken the hearts of home users and the hi-fi scene by storm. The device is now available in a slightly revised version. The use of an AK4493 (previously 4490) improves the signal-to-noise ratio from 117 dB to 120 db (123 dBA). At the same time the distortion decreases by about 10 dB, to a fantastic -120 dB at full digital level. The sensational -118 dBu, which resulted in complete freedom from noise at the IEM output, is now even better at -120 dBu.
On top there is now an additional headroom of 2.5 dB for the analog outputs XLR, RCA and IEM, which also raises the undistorted intersample peak limit to a generous +4 dBFS.
While the basic features and functions of the ADI-2 DAC remain unchanged, the device comes with an extended infrared remote control, the MRC (Multi-Remote-Control) which can remote control up to 4 different future RME devices. Currently only the ADI-2 DAC is supported.
The remote control is an extended version of the previous one, with additional buttons designed for the most commonly used functions, namely switching loudness, parametric EQ, and bass/treble on and off. In addition, there are keys for direct control of bass, treble and balance.
With these additional keys, all typically used functions of the device are now directly accessible. The four programmable buttons 1 through 4, a unique feature already of the original remote, can still be programmed with a personal selection of 32 commands/actions.
With the changes to the device and the new, extended remote control, RME aims at perfecting an already perfect device.

Haimhausen November, 2019. Four years ago the Babyface Pro again demonstrated RME’s absolute commitment to superior craftsmanship, not only in audio circuits and driver development, but also in mechanics. Created with the highest precision from a block of aluminum, this high-end portable interface incorporated newly designed analog and digital circuits. Its innovative energy saving technologies provided supreme fidelity with no compromises in level, noise or distortion.
In the new Babyface Pro FS even more improvements were implemented:
+19 / +4 dBu switch on the bottom adds a direct way to reduce the output level, thus improves SNR for sensitive active monitors, avoids distortion / overload, and helps to keep TotalMix FX faders near 0 dB instead of high attenuations.
Full SteadyClock FS circuit as in the ADI-2 Pro FS for lowest jitter and highest jitter immunity.
3.5 mm TRS phones output power rises from 70 mW to 90 mW. THD of both phones outputs improved by up to 10 dB. Uses same output op-amps as ADI-2 Pro now. Output impedance of 3.5 mm TRS lowered from 2 Ohms to 0.1 Ohms.
Mic inputs SNR improved from 112.2 dB to 113.7 dB, TRS Line inputs SNR improved from 114 dB to 116.3 dB (120 dBA). THD Line inputs improved by 8 dB.
6 samples less latency on the AD side by new ADC (5 samples AD, 7 samples DA. It won't get quicker...).
All the above improvements were achieved without raising the units power consumption.
K-slot (Kensington Lock) for theft protection.

Furthermore, users of dearVR PRO V1.4.0 can also benefit from Dear Reality’s brand-new VHSP (Virtual Height Speaker) simulation technology. This combines sophisticated room and distance simulation with groundbreaking virtual height speaker perception for flat setups like 5.1 or 7.1 in an unprecedented manner. Want to deliver 7.1.4 and 7.1? Easier done than said! Start mixing in 7.1.4 using the four real height speakers, then change the OUTPUT FORMAT to 7.1 and benefit from the virtual height simulation.
Additionally, all 46 vivid VIRTUAL ACOUSTICS environments within which dearVR PRO users can place an object’s sound have been optimized and adapted to simulate smoothly when working with all multichannel loudspeaker outputs. On top of that, all feature true-to-life 3D imaging and depth. Creatively choose from variously-sized rooms suited to the most commonplace production needs — from a small Car to a huge Cathedral. Each environment is instantly and independently recallable per plugin instance, letting users place each object’s sound in a different space. It is also possible to change the shape, dimensions, and texture of the selected space by adjusting its size, damping, balance of early reflections, and diffuse reverb.
REALTIME AURALIZATION mode allows adjustment of the distance between the listener and the four walls (LEFT, RIGHT, FRONT, and BACK), ceiling (TOP), and floor (BOTTOM) within the selected space. Moving the sound results in the delay times and directions of arrival for early reflections bouncing off those virtual boundaries being altered accordingly — just like in real-world environments. Extraordinarily, an OCCLUSION control even enables users to adjust the sound of an object being blocked by another virtual object in line of sight to the listener!
It is also possible for dearVR PRO users to effectively place their listener in the centre of the sound. Simply drag the mouse around using the plugin’s XYZ pad to position a track’s sound anywhere in a 3D soundstage — be that behind or in front of the listener, closer, or farther away.
Also, radical performance enhancements applied to the V1.4.0 update lead to a performance increase of up to 60%, making dearVR PRO the all- in-one solution when working with large channel counts in complex situations. Saying that, those performance enhancements enable users to run more instances of dearVR PRO than ever before.
Better said, dearVR PRO V1.4.0 is truly a state-of-the-art audio processor, allowing any multitrack session to be mixed in 3D. The powerful, fast, and intuitive interface provides all the tools that are needed to create stunning, ultra-realistic immersive 3D audio. Ask Golden Globe- and GRAMMY® Award-nominated film and classical composer, record producer, and arranger Simon Franglen. No stranger to the widening world of spatial audio himself, he happily sings its praises, putting forward the following closing comment: “It’s completely brilliant, utterly intuitive, excellent.”

TK Audio proudly presents the T-Komp, a compressor with a unique design.
The key feature is the ratio, which is level dependent and increases with the signal level, like the vari mu compressors.
To make it as useful as possible the T-Komp has two ratio ranges. The first one goes up to 20:1, perfect for instrument tracking and smashing drums etc., the second one is a more narrow range which makes it more suitable for bus compression.
The T-Komp can be selected between feed-forward mode for a punchy, modern response or feed-back mode with a smoother, more musical response.
The RMS detector has five settings, four from fast to slow where number four, the slowest, is similar to the old 160VU. The fifth position is a program dependent adaptive mode.
It is also equipped with a blend control for easy parallel compression, a HPF-filter to make it less sensitive to low energy like bass and kick drum, and for stereo use there is a link switch.
The T-Komp is the perfect workhorse both for tracking and mixing!
Level dependent ratio which increases with the signal level just like vari-mu compressors.
Two ratio ranges, 1:1 to 20:1 or 1:1 to 2:1.
Feed-forward mode for a punchy, modern response or feed-back mode with a smoother more musical response (rack version only).
Five RMS settings, four from fast to slow and a program dependent adaptive mode.
Blend control for easy parallel compression.
150Hz sidechain HPF (rack version only).
The T-Komp is available as a dual mono rack unit or as a single channel 500-series module. They are available for ordering from October 16th 2019.
All units are assembled by hand in the workshop in Halmstad, Sweden.
November 6th 2019, Wavesfactory, Artà, Spain, the company behind Mercury Piano, Spectre, Trackspacer and a host of other unique Kontakt instruments has announced Cassette.
Cassette is an audio plugin that emulates the sound of vintage cassette tapes and decks. It has been carefully modelled after exhaustive analysis of audio examples recorded into real tapes. As a result, Cassette imparts the same sound and behaviour of the original units.
These include a different frequency response, frequency dependent saturation, high-frequency compression, hiss, asperity noise and much more. Reproduction systems will also induce their fingerprint: wow, flutter, random high-frequency loss, crosstalk between channels, stereo unbalances and other. All of these little quirks and random fluctuations have been modelled meticulously. Cassette imprints instant nostalgia, movement and analog feel all around in its path.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the instrument, Wavesfactory founder Jesus Ginard says; “This is my tribute to the sound that shaped my childhood. I grew up listening to them at home, on the car or on a walkman. They are not perfect, in fact, they are far from perfect. That’s what I love about them. Cassette has been designed to be fun, pleasant to the ear and true to the medium”
ONE PLUGIN - 4 CASSETTE TYPES
Cassette has modelled the four cassettes types available. Each one delivers different sonic characteristics.
was the standard and most compatible tape format. Featured a ferric-oxide coating (Fe2O3). First appeared in the 1960s.
with a chromium dioxide (CrO2) formulation was introduced at the dawn of the 1970s featuring an undeniable increase in high frequency response.
living a short period between the mid 70s and early 80s, the ferro-chrome (FeCr) never made it into the golden era.
metal-formulated hit the scene at the end of the 70s. Features firmer bass as well as louder high frequencies.
Changing tapes will have an effect in the frequency response of the plugin but also in the saturation, compression, static noise (hiss) and dynamic noise (asperity noise).
RANDOMNESS UNDER CONTROL
Cassette offers under the hood control of many aspects of tape emulation they include;
Tape: Control how much of the tape effect is applied including frequency response, saturation and more.
Stability: Control how the Stability parameter in the front panel works internally. Includes “randomness” in order to make things unpredictable and analog.
Extra: More of what makes a cassette sound like a cassette. Including the innovative “Re-Cassette” parameter.
Artifacts: Control how the Artifacts parameter in the front panel works internally. Includes “Random Snap” for simulating the tape being caught momentarily causing pitch instability.
As you can see in this panel, Cassette uses oversampling in order to get rid of aliasing. The plugin always works at 192KHz sampling rate internally.
No iLok or challenge response needed for registering Cassette.
At the time of the purchase customers will receive an e-mail containing username and serial number.
Mac OSX (64-bit only): 10.7 or higher. DAW capable of hosting VST, VST3 or AU, or Pro Tools.
Windows (64-bit only): Windows 7, 8 or 10. DAW capable of hosting VST or VST3 plugins, or Pro Tools.
€29.00 intro price until December 3rd 2019 - normally €59.00 after that date. For more information and to buy visit https://www.wavesfactory.com/cassette
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (November 5, 2019) — Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) today announced the launch of the American Ultra Series, the most-advanced modern guitar from Fender. An evolution of American Elite – Fender’s premier electric series that launched in January 2016 – the American Ultra Series boasts all-new modern features, state-of-the-art craftsmanship and nuanced design. Luxurious, sleek and cutting-edge, this series sets a new industry standard for precision, performance and feel with Ultra Noiseless pickups and Fender’s fastest-playing necks. Created for a wide range of today’s highly-skilled modern artists, session and working guitarists, this series also offers a new body design and contours -a pivotal moment in Fender history, decades since the last significant alteration to the iconic Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster body shapes.
Since 1946, Fender has embraced artist and player feedback as the core driver of its process, leading to decades of subtle yet crucial innovations. These thoughtful changes in design and technology can’t always be seen by the naked eye, but are meaningful to artists who crave products that evolve with the times. As younger players create new sounds, meld existing genres and push the limits of what a guitar can do, Fender products also continue to evolve.
“The American Ultra Series is our most advanced series of guitars and basses for discerning players who demand the ultimate playing experience in precision, performance and tone,” said Justin Norvell, EVP of Product at Fender. “Blending state-of-the-art engineering and nuanced design to provide a high-performance experience for today’s player, American Ultra is the next chapter in Fender’s legacy of cutting-edge innovation. American Ultra has truly been decades in the making and is a result of our tireless commitment to meet the needs of today’s working and touring guitar players looking for a modern feel and tone.”
Inspired by Fender’s never-ending pursuit to equip players with the best tools to create, record and perform music, American Ultra is Fender’s most advanced series of instruments – providing the ultimate in precision, performance and tone. The series answers the call from discerning players looking for modern advancements to help them create at the highest level. One of these elevated features is the all-new “Modern D" neck with a compound-radius fingerboard, smooth American Ultra satin back finish and extremely rolled edges. The result is a neck that’s slim and fast – yet ergonomic and comfortable – for blazing solos and easy comping without sacrificing tone and resonance. Other key features include:
• New body contours: For next level comfort and playability, Fender redesigned the body contours of its most iconic models for the first time in decades. New back body curves offer hours of gigging comfort while a super-sculpted neck heel gives players unparalleled access to the upper register of the fingerboard, resulting in better accessibility and comfort.

Ultra Noiseless™ Hot pickups offer modern performance and classic tone so you can launch your amp into overdrive.
• HiMass™ bridge: With lots of metal, lots of mass and a cool modern look, the HiMass bridge on American Ultra basses delivers serious sustain, precise intonation and rock-solid tuning stability.
• Double Tap Humbucker: The American Ultra HSS Strat features a brand new Double Tap Humbucker with overwound coil to ensure matched volume between pickups in coil split mode
• Redesigned preamp with active/passive switching: A redesigned preamp on American Ultra basses features three bands of active boost/cut for sweeter highs, focused mids and lots more usable bass. For a more traditional tone, the redesigned pickups can also be used in passive mode.
• New colours: American Ultra instruments are available in a variety of colours, including: Cobra Blue, Mocha Burst, Texas Tea, Arctic Pearl, Aged Natural, Plasma Red Burst and Ultraburst.

Neu-Anspach, Germany — November 5, 2019 — On October 29th and 30th, the Adam Hall Group organized the second edition of its Event.Tech Days. Following the success of the premiere in 2018, the global event technology provider once again invited national and international rental and touring companies and event-tech engineers to the Adam Hall Experience Center at the company’s headquarters in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt. Besides presentations of the latest innovations in the Adam Hall Group brand portfolios — LD Systems, Cameo, Gravity, Palmer, and Defender — visitors were treated to a comprehensive Event.Tech program, which included keynote speeches from renowned speakers, a fascinating live show displaying pro audio and lighting technology solutions, expert lectures from renowned industry engineers, and an open “Tech.Talks” format with the R&D and Product Management from the Adam Hall Group. The second Event.Tech Days 2019 culminated in a colorful evening event with live music, catering, and personal guided tours through the Adam Hall Experience Center.
Approximately 180 companies from the rental and touring industry made their way to the award-winning Adam Hall Experience Center—more than triple the number from last year’s premier event. While the first day of the Event.Tech Days was reserved for companies from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the second day had a distinctly international flair, welcoming customers and professionals from all over Europe.
One of the highlights at this year’s Event.Tech Days was the keynote speech delivered by Dirk Denoyelle, a top speaker, comedian, and LEGO Certified Professional from Belgium. In the speech, Denoyelle shared his wide experience on topics relating to change and innovation. In the afternoon, the focus turned to pro audio and lighting with guest speakers Anselm Görtz and Herbert Bernstädt, both regarded as leading authorities in their respective fields of event technology.
The Tech.Talks format, initiated by the Adam Hall Group at the first Event.Tech Days 2018, provides a platform for sharing information openly — and proved to be highly popular. This year, visitors were once again able to move from panel to panel and participate in small discussion groups with the Adam Hall Group employees from different departments, namely R&D and Product Management. In each group, customers had the opportunity to share their experiences, ideas and constructive criticism as they discussed a wide range of aspects in the event and live show industry.
What better way to present new products for the rental and touring industries, than by simulating a live environment? In the theater auditorium of the Experience Center — fully equipped with state-of-the-art event technology — the Adam Hall Group product managers and engineers gave live presentations, complete with live show acts featuring artists and musicians, demonstrating the latest products in the pro audio, lighting, and stage equipment portfolios. Highlights of the show included the premiere for LD Systems’ new MAUI 44 G2 active column PA system and the Cameo OPUS X Profile moving head, featuring 33,000 lm output from a 750W LED.
“Networking and information: we used the Event.Tech Days to meet people from the industry, inspect new products, and get to know the Experience Center—not least because it is now often used as a base for workshops hosted by the VPLT (German Professional Event Technology Association).” - Marcel Fery, Chairman of Finances & Technology TSE AG
“The Event.Tech Days are a great idea. The Adam Hall Group took care of each and every detail—from the program through to catering. This attention to detail was visible everywhere and really made the difference.” - Mathias Dorn, CEO for SDF-Event and Medientechnik GmbH
Success Stories: Come Together
Visitors were also inspired by presentations showcasing various recent applications for new products, which gave them a clearer idea of the hugely diverse and creative ways, in which event technology solutions can be deployed.
The evening of the first day of the Event.Tech Days ended with a lively and colorful show in the “Come Together” restaurant, including a live performance by the LUI HILL Band. Technology, insights, and networking — participants at the Event.Tech Days 2019 were able to fully enjoy the networking event and focus on the business in hand as everything else — hotels, shuttle services and catering— was organized on their behalf.
