Finess, ISAs ”Who the Hell”, Buster Moes ”The Story We Used to Tell”, Amanda Alexanders “Modern Lovers” och Penthoxs ”Bottom” finns nu på Corite.
– Utan fans, inga artister.
BRNO, CZECH REPUBLIC: software applications, software effects, and hardware processors developer Audified is proud to announce availability of ToneSpot Electric Pro — this time targeting its innovative ToneSpot one-shot channel processing plug-in concept at easily enhancing electric guitar tones as another aptly-named Swiss Army Knife-style solution fit for working with the heaviest of genres through to more traditional ones, regardless of whatever combinations of guitar amps, pedals, or plug-ins are already being used in the tricky and time-consuming craft of pursuing electric guitar processing perfection — as of September 27…
Anyone who has ever tried to ape an exceptional-sounding electric guitar tone that they have heard on one of their favourite artist recordings should surely appreciate how tricky and time-consuming quest finding the ‘Holy Guitar Grail’ can be. After all, acquiring an awesome guitar and amp combo, magnificent microphones, superb-sounding stompboxes, and outstanding outboard effects can be a costly business — before trying to perfect putting those purchases into practice! Perhaps getting hold of some of the many magical guitar amp- and authentic-sounding stompbox- simulating plug-ins out there today better suits some aspiring artists and producers as an achievable alternative. As amazing as both ways of working can clearly sound, more often than not, that sought-after exceptional-sounding electric guitar tone proves to be beyond reach when recorded and mixed with the rest of the band. Even endless tweaking fails to yield the desired result — really frustrating for anyone, novice or otherwise.
Why? Well, answering that is easy: electric guitars can take a lot of processing. Put it another way: with many of today’s genres, giving guitars the treatment they need to musically shine is key to a mix’s success, so it is important to get the guitar sound just right. Reality dictates that guitars are often having to vie for attention with several layers of other instruments that can clash if left unchecked within the confines of a muddled mix. More often than not, it could be that the recordings themselves sound too thin, sterile, or harsh due to a lack of audio engineering skill. Similarly, bringing back overly muddy- or dark-sounding guitar recordings from the brink of disaster can prove problematic.
Put it this way: what is really required are appropriate-sounding guitar tones that can cut through. They need to be punchy and fat sounding, yet simultaneously show a great deal of clarity and tightness. That’s not all! At times, guitars still need to sound very natural — even if heavily processed. Putting all this into practice is far from easy, evidenced by the fact that professional audio engineers often go to great lengths in pursuit of building an awesome-sounding tone in a well-stocked recording studio. So chances are that tone benefitted from some seriously heavy lifting to get to where it needed to be, blending several re-amping chains with copious quantities of filtering, equalisation, saturation, and even some multi-band processing, perhaps. The top engineers even go as far as running the signal through their complicated chains two or three times in series until producers and artists are 100% satisfied with the result!
Results like those seriously heavy-lifted, awesome-sounding tones have hitherto been harder to come by for those without access to such well- stocked recording studios. Saying that, though, even if taking the arguably more cost-effective — certainly space-saving — ITB (in-the-box) recording route using a computer, it is not enough to simply run electric guitars through a real tube amp or guitar amp simulation plug-in to achieve the standards heard on today’s professional productions. The truth of the matter is that a ton of plug-ins are required, and that eats away at a significant portion of CPU (Central Processing Unit) power.
Thanks to Audified’s audacity, however, there is now a simpler solution... stand up and take a bow, ToneSpot Electric Pro! Pursuing electric guitar processing perfection needs not necessarily be the tricky and time-consuming craft it once was with just this one processing plug-in taking care of all the musical magic as the hitherto missing ‘magic bullet’ — truly the key to success since it bears bountiful tricks on tap that draw from a deep well of extensive engineering know-how, yet balances that with much in the way of creative freedom.
Fortunately for all, Audified’s ToneSpot Electric Pro promo video simply says it like it is: “Swiss Army Knife for all tone hunters... Best mixing tricks for electric guitar processing... Monstrous processing power and flexibility... Musically labeled controls... Works perfectly with any amp simulation or real tube amp.”
Simply speaking, then, ToneSpot Electric Pro improves the tone, no matter what amps, stompboxes, or plug-ins its users are already using for their electric guitar processing. Putting it to the test should surely prove to be an ear-opening experience for anyone adding it to their tone-hunting plug- in collection! And anyone seeking something simpler still could consider Audified’s alternative ToneSpot Electric Express offering, featuring the same processing power as its bigger brother, but with a reduced control count. Clearly, pursuing electric guitar processing perfection is indisputably no longer the tricky and time-consuming craft it once was — thanks to Audified’s audacity!
ToneSpot Electric Pro is available to purchase for a time-limited introductory promo price of $49.00 USD until October 18, 2019 — rising thereafter to $99.00 USD — from Audified’s online shop here: https://shop.audified.com/products/tonespot-electric-pro

September 26, 2019 - IK Multimedia announces the Hammond B-3X tonewheel organ virtual instrument. Created in close collaboration with Hammond USA and Suzuki Music Corp. of Japan, along with top Hammond artists, it meticulously recreates the sound, controls and entire effects signal path of the legendary Hammond B-3. This comprehensive approach offers a level of realism and detail that will satisfy most the discriminating B-3 fans while also offering an affordable introduction to the unique world of tonewheel organs that can be enjoyed by all levels of players.
IK's industry-leading modelling techniques were employed to deliver fine details and nuances that passed the discerning ears of the Hammond Organ Company in Chicago. In addition to its authentic organ sound, this new instrument offers a full-rig chain including stomp effects, an extended version of IK's Leslie® Collection with a rotary cabinet with mix-and-match amp and cabinet models plus four microphones, a parallel guitar amp with 4x12 cabinet, a mixer and three studio post effects.
Available for Mac/PC as a stand-alone application and as a virtual instrument plug-in, the Hammond B-3X offers plug and play convenience for both recording and performing.
Hammond USA Executive Vice President Peter Nguyen shared, "We're excited about the very first official Hammond/Leslie Virtual Instrument, and the partnership with IK Multimedia which made it happen. The teams certainly captured the qualities that have made the Hammond Organ an essential part of music for the past 85 years."
It's all in the details
True to the hardware original, Hammond B-3X begins with 91 tonewheels, which are based on well-maintained Hammond organs that IK studied in locations around the world. These free-running tonewheels are mixed in real-time based on the notes played and drawbar levels, for authentic realism.
Hammond B-3X can be fine-tuned using IK's detailed models of the original settings, controls and circuits, which were all approved by the Hammond Organ Company. Users can employ tonal filtering, select the independent key click, and engage the iconic Hammond percussion and chorus-vibrato circuits with advanced controls.
For deeper exploration and realistic touches, Hammond fans will appreciate a familiar simulation of the effects of "ageing" components to control tonal balance, generator leakage and crosstalk, and the chorus circuit's presence boost.
True tone, real experience
All the controls are designed to recreate the exact experience of playing a classic, hardware B-3 organ - from the order of the chorus/vibrato settings to the placement of the percussion switches. Some additional features have been included as well, for modern convenience.
The drawbars update in real-time when the inverted drawbar settings keys are selected, allowing users to save 24 custom drawbar settings per preset. For live use, a "Controls" view hides the keyboard and enlarges the drawbars and switches for less distraction while playing. MIDI assignments for modern Hammond digital organs are also included, making it plug-and-play easy to perform with everything at arm's reach.
Extended stomp box effects
The organ feeds a 5-unit pedalboard in the STOMPS section that features overdrive, graphic EQ, stomp box-style chorus-vibrato, wah wah and spring reverb. Derived from IK's award-winning AmpliTube and T-RackS software, these effects were carefully chosen and arranged for easy recreation of the widest range of iconic tonewheel organ sounds. They can also be assigned to MIDI control for on-stage use.
Real Leslie® sound
The signal is then sent to a CABS section that includes a choice of real Leslie amps and speakers that can be mixed and matched, along with a parallel guitar amp and 4x12 cabinet. Using technology derived from IK's award-winning AmpliTube 4 amplifier modelling, combined with an extended version of IK's Leslie® Collection, Hammond B-3X's cabinet section offers a massive range of sound-shaping option tabs. They include:
Setup - lets users fine tune the Leslie's slow and fast speed settings - including acceleration and deceleration - and adjust the mic distance and configuration
Leslie Amp - offers a selection of five Leslie power amps (or a power amp modelling off switch) and two guitar power amps to use in any of five Leslie cabinets, with full control over gain, EQ and volume
Leslie EQ - enables the rotary speaker to be shaped with high-pass, low-pass and parametric mid EQ
Guitar Amp - adds a parallel guitar amp derived from AmpliTube into the mix for use with popular rock tones used by top rock and blues players; offers full tone-shaping controls and spring reverb
Mixer - blends the sound of the Leslie, with independent volume and panning of both the horn and drum mics, the parallel guitar amp, and the DI organ sound for unprecedented tonal flexibility
Add professional polish
Lastly, Hammond B-3X offers three rackmount studio effects derived from IK's T-RackS Mixing and Mastering Workstation to add a final, professional touch.
IK's Limiter 76 FET-based compressor offers an iconic, timeless sound; the EQ-81 adds classic console tone-shaping and warmth; and a digital reverb adds a pristine sense of space.

Neu-Anspach – September 24th, 2019 – The Adam Hall Group announces immediate availability of the new Gravity Touring Series – the first ever stand series specifically developed for the professional rental market. The robust, fully metal stands impress with durable designs that withstand the toughest conditions. The Gravity Touring Series also features captive metal adjustment knobs and other functional details that make "on the road" touring life significantly more efficient.
The Touring Series by Gravity is built to last and is aimed at professional customers from the rental and touring sector who naturally have high demands for their stands every day. Therefore, Gravity has focused on maximum stability, well thought-out functionality, and innovative details for the Touring Series. Features such as captive full-metal adjustment knobs and effective boom attachment with just a ¾ turn allows the designs to stand out from comparable models. All the detailed solutions are based on countless hands-on experiences and feedback from professionals in the rental and touring sector – from stage hands to warehouse staff and technical directors of large productions.
Detailed Solutions for Professionals
The Touring Series retains the tried and tested basic concept of a stand but builds on it with many welcome and practical improvements. For example, the attachment knobs of the Gravity Touring Series do not screw out completely, only to a fixed point. The fact that the knobs cannot be removed without tools means that they don't get lost over time or during the rush of live performances or touring. At the same time, the boom of the stand can be tightened with just one turn – a significant time saver in the busy rental and touring business. When it comes to height adjustment, the developers at Gravity also took to heart feedback from rental professionals and developed an ergonomically optimized grip, which is easier to grasp.
The new Gravity Touring Series is available now. Available at series' launch are the TMS 4321 B Touring Series Tripod Mic Stand with standard boom, the TMS 4322 B Touring Series Tripod Mic Stand with telescopic boom and the TSP 5212 LB Touring Series Speaker Stand with auto lockpin.
