El Capitan - OS X - 10.11.1 fixar Audio Units 3.0 Validation

Vill bara höja ett varningens finger till er som kör MAC och vill uppdatera operativsystemet till OSX EL Capitan 10.11 som släpptes tidigare ikväll.

Det verkar vara mycket issues, kompatibilitetsproblem.

Apogee säger att det KAN fungera med El Capitan, men oavsett är det på egen risk.

UAD-2 and Apollo Compatibility With Mac OS X El Capitan

Apple has released OS X 10.11 El Capitan, the newest operating system for Mac computers. This OS release affects compatibility with Universal Audio products.

At this time, OS X El Capitan has not yet been fully tested by Universal Audio. UA will, of course, endeavor to fully test the new operating system as soon as possible and will post further information as it becomes available.

Initial testing of OS X El Capitan with the latest UAD software has revealed the known compatibility below. However, this testing has not been comprehensive, and there may be other issues to consider before upgrading to OS X El Capitan in the near future.

Note: Many audio software companies are advising users not to install OS X El Capitan due to OS incompatibilities with their software. Universal Audio recommends inquiring about compatibility with the companies that make the software you use before installing the new OS.

Known UA device compatibility with OS X El Capitan and UAD software v8.3

Apollo

• Apollo models connecting via FireWire (UAD v8.3.0) are not compatible at this time.
  
• Apollo models connecting via Thunderbolt (UAD v8.3.1) are compatible in preliminary tests.
  

UAD-2 Satellite

• UAD-2 Satellite FireWire models connecting via a Mac FireWire port (UAD v8.3.0) are not compatible at this time.
  
• UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt models (UAD v8.3.1) are compatible in preliminary tests.
  
• UAD-2 Satellite FireWire models connecting via the Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter (UAD v8.3.1) are compatible in preliminary tests.
  

UAD-2 PCIe

• UAD-2 PCIe cards in internal PCIe slots with UAD v8.3.0 are not compatible at this time.
  
• UAD-2 PCIe cards connecting via a Thunderbolt-to-PCIe chassis (UAD v8.3.1) are compatible in preliminary tests.
  

UA device compatibility with OS X Yosemite

All current UAD-2 and Apollo products are compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite when using UAD v8 and higher.

Uppdaterade nu till 10.11.1 och det verkar rulla på bra. Dock så säger jag inte att det är fritt fram. Men jag har inga projekt på gång så jag tog en chansning!
