Genesis återförenas!

Efter 15 års uppehåll gör Genesis en ny turné.

Turnén heter "Turn it on again" och turnepremiär blir i Finland den 11 juni 2007.

Genesis kommer tyvärr inte till Sverige, men Finland eller Danmark är ju inte så långt bort för hängivna svenska fans.

Det blev en lite beige nyhet av den stora nyheten som ryktades tidigare i år.

Då skulle Gabriel vara med och man skulle framföra hel Lamb lies..

Venue may lure Peter Gabriel to reunion concert.

British rock group Genesis will headline next year's free concert in front

of the Coliseum and this may just be the perfect occasion for original

frontman Peter Gabriel to reunite with his old bandmates.

The July 2007 concert is expected to be the only Italian date on the 'Turn

it on Again' reunion tour of original band members Phil Collins, Mike

Rutherford and Tony Banks.

Aside from a one-off concert in 1982, the original Genesis lineup has not

played together since 1975.

However, a year ago Gabriel told Rolling Stone magazine that prospects for a

Genesis reunion were "better than ever".

Then last month he told BBC radio that while he was not involved in the 2007

Genesis reunion tour, he had not ruled out joining them for a gig or two.

Organizers and fans hope that the unique opportunity of playing at the

Coliseum will be enough to lure the theatre-conscious Gabriel to join

Collins, Rutherford and banks after a 25-year separation. The annual

Coliseum concert, sponsored by the City of Rome and Telecom Italia, has

became a recent tradition and in the past seen performances by Paul

McCartney, who also held an acoustic concert inside the ancient arena for a

select audience, Simon and Garfunkle, Elton John and this year Billy Joel.

The Genesis reunion tour will officially be presented in London next week.

Considered a 'progressive' rock band in the 1970s and '80s, Genesis sold

over 130 million albums, including such classics as Nursery Cryme, Selling

England By The Pound and Invisible Touch.
