EZplayer Pro inställningar i the Environment hjälp.

Som ny Logic Pro 8 användare har jag helt sonika struntat i att försöka förstå mig på Environment och dess lager, det har helt enkelt inte behövts rotats i. Fram tills nu vill säga.

I Cubase 4 har jag alltid kört EZplayer Pro och Addictive Drums när det kommit till att bygga trumspår. Och installation och kopplingar har flutit på utan problem. I Logic visade det sig dessvärre inte lika smidigt. Trots att jag har läst Environment-kapitlet i Logic handboken samt vridit och vänt på EZplayer intruktionerna kan jag inte få till det.

Summa summarum; jag känner mig extremt osäker på the Environment och skulle behöva någon som (på svenska, ja prata med bönder på bönders vis helt enkelt) kan hjälpa mig att få Logic att genom AD spela upp midi från EZplayer.

Tar mig frihet att kopiera ur avsnittet "Setting up Apple Logic" ur EZplayer manualen (är det inte tillåtet så hojta):

1) Inserting the plugin:

• Access the ‘Click and Ports’ layer of your Logic Environment

• Create an Audio Object and assign it to a free Audio Instrument

• Insert EZplayer on this Audio Instrument track.

2) Setting up:

• Insert YFDS on an Audio Instrument track

• Copy paste this Instrument track to the ‘Click and Ports’ layer in the Environment

• Create a cable connection between the EZplayer track and YFDS

At this point you will be able to drive YFDS with EZplayer but you will also trigger

any MIDI instrument that you happen to record-arm. You therefore need to perform

the following for additional flexibility:

• Remove the cable that connects your ‘Physical Input’ to the ‘Input Notes’ object

• Still in the ‘Click and Ports’ layer, insert a ‘Channel Splitter’ object

• Connect Ch10 of the ‘Channel Splitter’ to the EZplayer track

• Connect all others except the one marked ‘SUM’ to the ‘Input Notes’ object

• reconnect the ‘SUM’ of the ‘Physical Input’ to the ‘Channel Splitter’ input

• In EZplayer, choose the appropriate MIDI Output format for YFDS

• Set the channel Map Wrap ‘MIDI Redirect’ to channel 10

• Select a groove in EZplayer and press Play

(YFDS betyder i det här fallet Your Favourite Drum Sampler)

Tydligare intruktioner än så där går det ju inte att få MEN jag kan förstå att det verkar kryptiskt.

Problemet är att det är extremt svårt att förklara allt som sägs på ett vettigt sett.

Hade jag haft EZ Player hade jag gärna hjälp dig , Men om jag förstår detta rätt skall alttså AD fungera som Ljudmodul och EZ fungera som " Taktmodul " ( i brist på bättre beskrivning ). Visste faktiskt inte att en sådan funktion fanns.

Borde det inte teoretiskt oxå fungera att ställa båda på samma Midi kanal tex 1 för att få båda att spela samtidigt.

Som sagt detta är svårt att med ord beskriva eller få till utan man får laborera och se vad som händer.

Tyvärr kan jag inte hjälpa dig. 😉
