En detalj där Ultrasone har en extra fördel mot andra tillverkare (förutom ljudet då... 🙂 ), är att de har en speciell teknik som gör att man med samma upplevt ljudtryck, har 3dB lägre egentligt ljudtryck i lurarna. Det kan vara dessa 3dB som räddar användarens hörsel...

Hur går det till? Låter väl ändå rätt orimligt..

Vad man hör är ju vad som finns liksom. Vet du hur det fungerar, låter väldigt intressant. 🙂

Har inte den blekaste, men det finns lite info HÄR - och där finns också möjlighet att fråga de som verkligen är insatta i det.

Att de förutom det, även har lyckats reducera den elektromagnetiska strålningen, är förstås ett ytterligare plus. 😆

Yes it's a fact of "psycho-acoustics", which causes the SPL differences with

S-LOGIC. Please find the attached paper, which explains more as this

following words.

Imagine this thoughts: Inside your head virtually perceived sound sources

"don't have huge extracting space" (mean cubus: 20*25*20cm³); so the virtual

sound source size is everytime small. In scientific sense (dissertation

Lwas/1972, J Blauert book "spatial hearing" ...) a great or near sound

source is loud and a small source is far away ... perhaps you still begin

where I'm going to describe this facts: The basics of an inside the head

localisation 8via headphones) is caused by NOT existing individual

head-related transfer functions (HRTF's) for all hearing directions ... so

via ordinary headphones (centric speakers et cetera) and a PAN-POT

stereophony you don't have any spatial hearing information for your brain.

If this will be realized at frequencies > 1 kHz (main range) via S-LOGIC

headphones and so on ... and you would use a good stereo recording

(including phase/refelction effects ...) then this will bring you as music

listener the effect of an OUT of the head hearing image"!!!" - just

"distance percetion" or frontal hearing related on the tuned/adjusted

"loudness" or volume. And now "loudness": As mentioned "distance" is

correlated to loudness; if you have/ hear with your own HRTF's (or S-LOGIC =

mainly de-centric or offset driver...speaker). Making a simple comparison

test device by one headphone with

(1.) a pair of S-LOGIC drivers each earcup (de-centric sound source at the

outer ear shape = your HRTF's) and

(2.) a pair of ordinary / centric drivers each earcup (no individual HRTF's)

and

(3.) you'll switch over between those two stereo image

(4.) to tune the same loudness sensation of  MUSIC (same lodness feeling),

then

(5.) you can measure a by a probe mice the SPL of a pink noise rendered

signals nead-by the ear drum and:

(6.) There is a difference in measured SPL's between "ordinary" and

"S-LOGIC", because "you think the 3 D sound image extracted audio signals

(by S-LOGIC)  are louder than the normal stereo one" ... I think now you

think or understand - I hope so: This isn't strange anymore - YES?!?
