Steinberg verkar ha bättre koll än vissa andra om man får tro denna post;
“An 8 core mac pro is of course the best choice to use with Logic Pro, but remember that Logic 8.0.1 is only capable of using around 50 percent of each core ( in 4 or 8 core machines, nearly 100 percent in dual core systems) ) compared to Cubase 4.0, which can use 95 percent of each core on 4/8 core machines. So at the moment you won´t be able to use the full power of your machine, and maybe an iMac 2.8 Ghz will also be a good choice which gives you as much as half the CPU power compared to an 8 core 2.8 Ghz Mac Pro even though the iMac only has two cores. We hope that Apple will adress this poor multicoreperformance in the next 8.1 update.” ‘
