Koppla ihop datorer!

Är det nån som har hittat en enkel och billig lösning att koppla ihop sin musikdator med en "slavdator" som tex kör VSTi eller effekter i ens projekt? Jag har Cubase. Har letat på forumet men hittar inte tråden som detta har diskuterats.
