how to turn dark melody to happy melody

Hello everyone

For past 2 weeks i am trying to compose a melody but i always end up making something sad or dark 

i want to make happy meldoy but it just doesnt work 

i tried to create other artists melodies but turn their melodies into sad or dark and its just always one or two notes difference which i never hear 

anyone has any advise for this ?????

I think we need to hear some of it to decide if the melody is sad or your interpretation of it is sad...

@Tommy I  I am not pretending that i lack knowledge but when i compare my stuff with other artists it doesnt that  vibe which they have
