Jag lyckades komma över ett gammalt trumset från sent 60-tal. Det verkade ha legat i lådor större delen av tiden och trumskinnen har aldrig bytts. Till och med trumstockarna som kom med kitet fanns med i knappt använt skick. Innan jag byter trumskinn och rent ut sagt arkiverar de skinnen som sitter på tänkte jag att det kunde vara kul att se om det går att göra en godtaglig inspelning av 50 år gamla trumskinn. Recording with 50 years old drum heads
I managed to catch an old drum kit from the late 60’s. It seemed to have been in cases for the most part and the drum heads have never been changed. Even the drumsticks that came with the kit were in almost unused shape. Before I change drumheads I thought it would be cool to see if it’s possible to make a decent recording of these 50 years old drum heads. What do you think?
