Jag har gjort ett helt gäng jämförelser mellan olika kloner av gamla klassiska mikrofoner. När jag nu skulle testa en U87-klon från Serrano Audio tänkte jag att det kunde vara mer intressant att jämföra mot två vintage original istället för en handfull andra kloner. Det brukar ju sägas att två olika exemplar av vintage mikrofoner inte låter lika. Så två frågor att ställa inför denna video är, hur stor skillnad är det mellan de två Neumann-mikrofonerna och vart placerar sig Serranos mikrofon i förhållande till det? (In English at the bottom of the page).

How big is the difference between two vintage Neumann U87’s?
I’ve done a whole bunch of shootouts between different clones of vintage microphones. Now when it was time to review a U87 clone from Serrano Audio I thought it would be interesting to compare it with two original vintage U87’s instead of a handfull of other clones. It’s often stated that two vintage microphones of the same model never sounds the same. So, two questions to ask for this video is how big is the difference between the two Neumann microphones, and where do the Serrano microphone place itself in that context?
