Tap tempo i Ableton?

Innan jag installerar Ableton Live i min dator skulle jag vilja vara säker på huruvida det går att använda tap-tempo eller ej.

Har sökt på forumet och youtube, men överallt har den övriga musiken anpassats till ett tempofast beat. Jag hoppas på att kunna anpassa mina loopar till en "riktig trummis" istället (genom att trampa tempot). Finns funktionen?

Problemet är att jag inte har mina händer fria. Jag spelar percussion, synt och sjunger, så det är bara fötterna som återstår. Hittade dock det här:

Sure everybody has tap tempo now, but unlike everyone else Live 7 makes it easy. I've been using this feature a lot while playing with other musicians, and the beauty is I can use it in various time signatures, here is my real world example. I have a track in 5/4 and it begins with the guitar only. My sequence is set to 5/4, but my guitarist doesn't like to play to a click and varies the tempo every time he plays it. Live 7 solves this. All I need to do is assign the TAP button to a midi controller and tap 5 times to my guitarist's rhythm (because the sequence is in 5/4) and the sequence begins, in time, no problems - don't worry about the time signature.

ahh du ska använda det i livesammanhang, ne tap och nudge funktionerna kom i 7an. Dra hem en trial och testa i 14 dagar från deras hemsida annars då?

Jag vill minnas att även 6an hadde Tap (Allra högst upp till vänster) nudge är däremot helt nytt för 7an.

Ja, jag har som sagt en cd med 6:an (Lite). Jag har dock ingen lust att installera i onödan, utifall funktionen skulle saknas.
