Minus latency when working with outboards.

Hello.

I have a problem that i think I've done almost every possible action to get around.
But still i can't solve it.

I have an issue with minus latency with sending signals through outboards and back.
So the sent signal is monitored and/or recorded before the original signal.
The I/O plugin in Logic pings -6 no matter what my buffer settings are.

I have software monitoring in logic turned OFF and delay compensation in UAD console OFF aswell.

Anyone? Please help me.

Logic, Apollo 16 and Mac.

Don't know If it's any help. But there's a difference between software signal and hardware signal. Is everything connected correctly?

The problem might be the A/D converter in your hardware/software.

If I understand u correctly, is the 2 tracks out of phase? (Not playing at the beat) if so can set one of the tracks to start earlier or later? If do set it to -6ms. Works on cubase. Settings on each track .

You have to actually measure it first and then compensate for it (in any direction you want I guess).

Good luck
