Heya,
Jag ställde en fråga på Audio-Video Production men har inte fått något svar ännu, tänkte att jag kunde ställa den här också. Tyvärr är den på engelska men jag hoppas att det går bra här med.
"I recently bought a Korg KP3 hoping that I could use my YAMAHA PSR E403
as input to the KP3, to play with effects, and then record the sound
on my computer.
I also use Reason 5 to compose my electronic music.
Being new to producing audio, I guess that you can imagine my surprise
as I got home trying to connect the devices and nothing worked. I realized
that I was lacking a proper audio interface, and the proper way to connect
these devices.
Do I need an audio interface, or something else? Is it possible to output
the MIDI into the KP3 and then back to the computer to record in Reason 5,
or will I need some other tool to use the KP3's output (sound) and then
sample it inside Reason 5?
If it's an audio interface I need, would you recommend an external one like
the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB, ESI U46 XL or ...?
I want to produce on my PC running Windows 7, as well as my MacBook Pro
running Mac OS X 1.6 so I've only been looking at external interfaces. I
don't know if I should prefer USB over FireWire, I have connections for both.
I know these are a lot of questions, but it's a complicated situation, so I
hope you can bear with me here."
Har någon tips jag kan få?
