Vegetal Postat 28 april 2007 Postat 28 april 2007 Som rubriken lyder, har aktiverat multiprocessor support i ableton men cpu-mÀtaren ger samma belastning oavsett om dualcore Àr aktiverat eller ej. NÄn som kÀnner igen detta?

Vegetal Postat 14 maj 2007 TrÄdstartare Postat 14 maj 2007 Well dÄ ingen verkar veta hur detta funkar sÄ postar jag supportens svar. how many tracks are running when you check the CPU load? Live can only allocate different tracks to each CPU core, i.e. track 1 will be calculated by CPU core #1 and track 2 will be calculated by CPU core #2. If you ran your test with only 1 track running, you won't notice any change on Live's CPU meter, since only 1 core is being used. Try the following to verify if the multi-core support works fine on your computer: -enable the multicore support in Live's preferences -create 1 track + clip and load various instruments and effects, so that the CPU load reaches around 30% when you run the clip. -duplicate the track (right click on the track's title bar and choose 'duplicate') -> the CPU meter should still stay at 30% (due to other running threads on track 2 you may note a slight increase of the CPU load, so it could reach 35% or so). -open preferences and disable the multicore support -> the CPU meter should now jump to around 60% This would ensure that everything is working as expected. If you get already 60% for both tracks even though multicore support is ENABLED, then there could be something wrong with your computer.
